How to submit your listings to Trulia, Zillow, Oodle, Google and Craigslist

Many realtors these days are struggling with the technicalities or lack of time when submitting their real estate listings to Trulia, Zillow, Oodle, Google or Craigslist. These websites are among the most important companies when it comes to online classifieds, but it can be very frustrating and time consuming to sign up for all of them in order to submit your listings.

One of our previously articles showed you how to create a beautiful Craigslist listing, but at the time, there was no automated option that will help you submit your listing to the appropriate websites. Fortunately, the process has been simplified tremendously since then and many websites, beside Postlets, come to your rescue.

Today, we’ll focus on a fairly new company that offers free and paid flyer design services. FlyerCafe uses the same concept as Postlets, but much simplified. From the moment you sign up to the time I created and published my first listing, it took only three minutes. To make this process as smooth, fast and painless as possible, make sure you have all the information you need about your property, along with the photos.

FlyerCafe gives you the option to list your property for sale or rent, and once it’s created, it publishes the listing to Trulia, Oodle, Zillow, Google, ByOwner MLS, Myspace and many others similar websites. There are 25 professional themes to choose from, with different layouts and colors, based on the type of property you are selling or renting. In the end, it’s all about knowing your audience and the type of clients your property will appeal to.

The basic plan lets you create 5 FREE listings every month, plenty for many real estate agents, but if you’re running a large real estate firm, then the Professional might suit your needs better: 100 listings at $39.95/month.

So, here is what I came up with in three minutes timeframe:

You will see get a link of your listing on FlyerCafe, along with option of downloading the PDF format and the HTML code that can be embeded in your own website. From this point, all you have to do is hit Publish and your listing will be automatically submitted to all the websites we mentioned above.

Pretty simple, right? Now, you have no excuse of not using these online tools and maximize the exposure of your real estate listings.

Great post. This sure seems like a real time saver over going to each site and posting up your listings individually. And it looks like they also provide some great templates too.
